Kathy has 24+ years experience in medical billing and credentialing. She completed the National Claims Service comprehensive training program designed specifically for electronic claims submission, including specifications necessary for Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and Blue Shield claims as well as commercial insurance carriers. Kathy’s previous experience was in purchasing and bookkeeping as well as an owner/entrepreneur of a small western wear company in the 1970s. Kathy is an avid Jazzerciser, likes to sew and make greeting cards, and loves spending time with her husband and grandchildren.

Vice President

Holly has been with Cen-Tex since 2001. As Kathy’s daughter, Holly helps run and manage the company. She is also the HIPAA compliance officer, handles provider accounts, and does much of the credentialing/contracting work. She graduated summa cum laude from St. Edwards University in south Austin with a degree in scenic design and painting. Professionally, Holly is motivated by the commitment to get providers and patients the benefits they deserve and the payments promised to them by insurance companies. Holly enjoys raising her son, JT, spending time with their animals, working in the theater community, live music and being outdoors.

Accounts Representative

Michele has been working for Cen-Tex Medical Claims since 2007. She came to Cen-Tex with 20+ years experience as a Corporate Benefits Analyst and Human Resources Representative for a large corporation. Her past experience also includes processing medical claims for Aetna Insurance Corp. Michele is a Southern Illinois University graduate.

Michele enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband James, their son Sean who graduated from UT in May 2012 with his MBA (BSEE) and is a director for Emerson, their daughter Shannon who is an Elementary School Special Ed Teacher in Taylor, working on her masters in counseling, and her mother who lives with them due to Alzheimers. As well as working at Cen-Tex, Michele is a full-time caregiver for her mother, designs custom jewelry, paints, and is an award-winning photographer who loves to create.

Accounts Representative

Desiree has been with Cen-Tex medical claims since 2010. She handles most of the mental health insurance benefit verification for our clients and their patients. She is the account representative for several individual providers as well as two facilities. Desiree has been in customer service for over 20 years and, as first contact for many patients, very much enjoys helping them, and our clients, understand policy benefits and answer any other questions they might have. She loves living in the Austin area with her significant other, and her 3 children, Anthony, Austin, and Emma. They enjoy spending their free time outdoors.

Accounts Representative

Keitra has been with Cen-Tex since 2013. Prior to coming to Cen-Tex, Keitra completed the Medical Billing and Coding program at Virginia College in Austin in 2011. After her externship, she was hired as a contractor, which later lead to full-time employment at Healthcare Reimbursement Service (HRS). She helped train fellow students from Virginia College on the complete billing cycle, from verifying benefits to follow-ups and appeals. During that time she also managed accounts for PT, OT, Chiro and home wound care.

At Cen-Tex Keitra handles the verifications for rehabilitation therapy services as well as managing accounts for pediatric PT, OT, and ST, as well as ABA therapy, and mental health. In her free time she enjoys watching football, old movies, and spending time with her husband, Thomas, and their 3 children Keira, Ryan, and Brianna.
